Legal proceedings in the EU: Small Claims & European Payment Order
Do you have problems with a company from another EU country?
Within the European Union, there are two simplified cross-border legal procedures that allow you to enforce your rights in other EU countries: the European order for payment (EU order for payment procedure) and the European Small Claims Procedure.
No lawyer is required for either procedure. You simply need to submit a standard form.
Please note: If you have a dispute with a company based in Denmark, Iceland, Norway or the United Kingdom, you cannot use either the European Small Claims Procedure or the Small Claims Procedure.
